Our buddy Gregory Siff recently had a show at Kaffe 1668 in Tribeca. Show was curated by Jessica Peck.
“Hello. I am a computer screen. Thank you for looking at me. Below you is Gregory Siff’s artwork. What you see here is work done in late 2008, early 2009. The ideas and images found in the works are pieces of his experiences and moments that stick out clearly from his life. The shape of a square and labeling occurences are a system of cataloguing his ups and downs in the cycle of youth into manhood. Leaving and going and returning and dreaming could not be avoided in this collection. I am hungry now and must go eat a pretzel. Enjoy this once in a lifetime experience.”
GO SEE IT LIVE ON VIEW UNTIL LATE FEBRUARY IN TRIBECA at KAFFE 1668, 275 GREENWICH ST. NY, NY.
