Sound and Fury- Signifying Nothing

I was listening to the BBC’s podcast last night about street art. The first one they did was with New York’s own Elbow-toe. The second was with my boy Nunca from Brasil. Nunca took the BBC producer to a piece of his (which I was amazed to hear is still standing- which I guess speaks volumes about the city of Sao Paulo.) Anyhow, Nunca was explaining to the producer that this building was dilapidated… everything was gone… and here was this man sitting naked… still watching T.V..

I was reminded of this quote I read recently from Macbeth:

“Life’s but a walking shadow, a poor player,
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage,
And then is heard no more. It is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
Signifying nothing.”
